The Costing Engineer is responsible for managing the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for various product models, overseeing customer LOA pricing, and tracking Purchase Price Variance (PPV). Key Responsibilities:  Manage the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for various product models.  Oversee and update customer LOA pricing to ensure it aligns with contractual terms.  Track and monitor Purchase Price Variance (PPV), working with procurement to minimize discrepancies.  Manage cost down/up activities to support product cost optimization and pricing strategies.  Prepare and review detailed cost estimates for products and projects.  Analyze actual costs versus estimates, providing recommendations for cost control and improvement.  Collaborate with engineering, finance, and procurement teams to ensure effective cost management across product models.  Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities throughout the production process.  Support project/program teams by managing analytical worksheets related to buffer stock, safety stock, risk buys, costing, etc. Qualifications:  Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Finance, or a related field.  1-2 years of experience in costing or pricing in a manufacturing environment.  Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and financial modeling.  Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Syspro). Key Skills:  Excellent Excel skills with strong proficiency in managing and analyzing data.  Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.  Ability to manage cost down/up activities effectively.  Good communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.  Strong negotiation skills for dealing with both external and internal stakeholders to maximize company benefit.  Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
