Order Processing & Documentation • Process material requisitions from production teams, ensuring timely order fulfillment. • Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing goods, stock usage, and inventory transactions. • Generate and analyze inventory reports, highlighting usage trends, shortages, and stock levels. • Ensure proper documentation for all stock movements and keep records for auditing purposes. 5. Compliance & Safety • Ensure adherence to workplace safety guidelines, especially in handling hazardous materials or heavy equipment. • Conduct regular safety audits of storage areas, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards (e.g., OSHA). • Train staff on safe material handling practices, proper lifting techniques, and the use of safety equipment (PPE). • Ensure cleanliness and organization in storage areas to prevent accidents and improve efficiency. 6. Communication & Collaboration • Act as a liaison between production teams and suppliers, ensuring that material availability aligns with production schedules. • Communicate inventory levels, shortages, or supply chain issues to management and procurement teams. • Work closely with the logistics department to plan material movements efficiently and on time.
