The Marketing Manager reports to the Director and is required to present strategies for marketing and studying the company’s competitors, plan and carry out business development activities and promotions in the form of talks, exhibitions and web marketing, among others. The incumbent will take the lead in developing web marketing and communications and establish a strong Britannia branding in the market. Together with the team in the marketing department, look into creating sales and marketing activities to improve student population and retention rates. The job functions and responsibilities are inclusive but not limited to the following: Job Duties Business Development & General Marketing • To explore and develop marketing strategies and plans for existing and new markets; • Study and collate competitors information in order to ensure a good grasp of industry trends, strategise into new market segments and take a proactive role in proposing a shift in the company’s business operations; • To monitor and execute leads nurturing activities with counsellors to sustain higher conversion to enrolments; • To have regular meeting with centre heads and counsellors to address marketing related issues and build teamwork; • To coordinate marketing activities to increase sales of the Company’s products and services; • To compile monthly statistics, analyse and make comparisons on past statistics and forecasts; • To work towards the fulfilment of Company KPI’s and enrolment goals; • To sustain an overall positive team spirit and morale for productivity and effectiveness in all of the department’s endeavours; Branding & Events • To visit schools counsellors, organise school talks, attend school exhibitions, collect student’s data, maintain effective communications with schools and carry out related outreach activities to create awareness with students; • To network and leverage on schools relationship to promote brand, products, services and building long-term partnership projects; • To organise exhibitions, conferences and other events; • To oversee ELS’ branding through media coverage Auxiliary • To undertake any other projects or work assignments as assigned by Management; • To plan and promote the Holiday English Camp for International/Malaysian students;
