Software Engineer

Must Have:  Microsoft Windows Platform: Experience in Microsoft Windows platform using Advanced C#, .Net Framework, MS Visual Studio, and WCF technologies.  Factory Automation: Experience with development and support of mission-critical systems in factory automation.  SECS/GEM Protocol: Experience specifying and programming equipment interfaces using SECS/GEM equipment protocol standards.  Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.  Life Cycle Knowledge: Excellent knowledge of product life cycle and software development life cycles.  Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  Flexibility: Demonstrate a high level of flexibility and adaptability to different manufacturing environments.  Customer Orientation: Strong customer orientation skills, proactive support, and prompt troubleshooting.  Remote Interface: Ability to interface with customers and/or stakeholders from remote sites.  Supplier Management: Experience in managing external suppliers to deliver specified software products.  Project Management: Knowledge of project management and experience handling large-sized teams. Good-to-Have:  Additional Programming Languages: Familiarity with other programming languages and technologies.  Advanced Automation Tools: Experience with advanced automation tools and technologies.  Cloud Solutions: Understanding of cloud-based solutions and services.  Industry Standards: Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in factory automation. Responsibilities:  Develop and support mission-critical systems using Advanced C#, .Net Framework, MS Visual Studio, and WCF technologies.  Apply your experience in factory automation to develop and maintain automation systems.  Specify and program equipment interfaces using SECS/GEM equipment protocol standards.  Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly.  Demonstrate excellent knowledge of product life cycle and software development life cycles.  Ensure data integrity, security, and availability through best practices and regular maintenance.  Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interface with customers and stakeholders.  Demonstrate a high level of flexibility and adaptability to different manufacturing environments.  Provide strong customer orientation, proactive support, and prompt troubleshooting to address production escalations.  Ability to interface with customers and/or stakeholders from remote sites.  Manage external suppliers to deliver specified software products.  Apply knowledge of project management to handle large-sized teams and ensure successful project delivery.
