Job Responsibilities
- Fully handle the purchasing of all Inventory & Non-Inventory items.
- Maintain Accounts Payable and ensure that deliveries arrive in a timely manner.
- Maintain and develop the Supplier Database.
- Initiate negotiations with Suppliers to ensure the Company’s competitive pricing.
- Fully understand Purchasing SOP and assist in revising and executing changes as needed to ensure a smooth purchasing process with no delays to Operations Processes.
- To ensure that the supply of raw and packaging materials is sufficient to meet the weekly Production planning volume.
Job Requirements
- Candidate possess at least a Diploma in Purchasing, Logistics or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year working experience in Purchasing (preferably in FMCG, Skincare industry or equivalent)
- Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin will be an added advantage when communicating with Suppliers)
- Intermediate level in Excel
- Knowledge of AutoCount system will be an added advantage
