Job Overview:

As an IT Recruiter, you will play a crucial role in attracting, sourcing, and hiring top-tier IT professionals for a variety of technical positions. You will work closely with hiring managers, HR, and business leaders to ensure that we are identifying and securing the best candidates to meet the needs of our fast-paced IT environment. Your fluency in Japanese will be key in engaging with candidates and clients in Japan, ensuring smooth communication throughout the recruitment process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source, identify, and engage qualified IT professionals for various technical roles (software developers, engineers, network specialists, etc.).
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment, from job posting to candidate offer and onboarding.
  • Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and assess technical skills.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand job requirements and ensure accurate role descriptions.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of candidates by leveraging job boards, social media, and networking.
  • Conduct interviews and assessments in both Japanese and English to evaluate candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Coordinate and facilitate communication between Japanese-speaking candidates and hiring managers or HR teams.
  • Provide a positive candidate experience, keeping candidates informed throughout the recruitment process.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging technologies to understand the evolving hiring needs of the IT sector.
  • Track recruitment metrics and provide regular updates to management on recruitment progress.

Requirements:

  • Native or fluent Japanese speaker (written and verbal) with strong proficiency in English.
  • Proven experience in IT recruitment, technical recruitment, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of the IT industry, including knowledge of key roles and technical skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously.
  • Proficient in using applicant tracking systems (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and social media platforms for sourcing.
  • Experience in recruiting for both local and international roles is a plus.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience recruiting in the Japanese market or for Japanese-speaking candidates.
  • Background in technology, computer science, or a related field.
