People & Culture Specialist
Food Market Hub is a procurement and inventory management system designed for F&B businesses. Our platform streamlines and automates back-end operations such as ordering, inventory management, an efficient inventory and cost management solution.
We are seeking a People & Culture Specialist whose primary responsibility is managing employees relations and benefits administration; and recruitment.
You will be responsible for having overall knowledge of all human resource functions.
To succeed in this role, you should be able to ensure the HR department’s operations will be running smoothly and effectively to deliver a more business partnering value to the organisation as a whole.
Job requirements:
Culture & Engagement:
- Develop and implement strategies to strengthen company culture and ensure alignment with Verdant Solar’s core values.
- Plan and execute employee engagement programs, team-building activities, and wellness initiatives to enhance morale and teamwork.
Talent Acquisition & Retention:
- Manage recruitment processes, from job posting to onboarding, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
- Work with hiring managers to identify talent needs, optimize job descriptions, and support workforce planning.
- Develop retention strategies and career progression frameworks that promote internal growth and employee satisfaction.
Performance & Development:
- Oversee the Performance Management Framework (PFM) and support managers in setting, tracking, and reviewing performance goals.
- Design and implement training and learning programs, including employee skill development, leadership training, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Employee Relations & Compliance:
- Serve as a trusted advisor on employee relations matters, supporting conflict resolution and promoting a respectful, inclusive workplace.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and HR bestpractices, updating policies as needed to align with industry standards.
HR Operations & Analytics:
- Manage and streamline HR processes, including payroll, benefits administration,and the tracking of key HR metrics. Use data to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement across HR functions, enhancing efficiency and employee experience.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; HR certification (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years in generalist role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
- Experience in designing and implementing people programs, performance management systems, and employee engagement strategies.
- Demonstrated knowledge of employment law and best HR practices.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
