Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated Halal Supervisor to join our team at Garden Bakery Sdn. Bhd. The ideal candidate will ensure our bakery’s full compliance with Halal regulations and uphold the highest food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

· Ensure strict compliance with JAKIM’s Halal certification requirements.

· Verify Halal status of all ingredients, raw materials, and production processes.

· Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain Halal integrity.

· Oversee Halal documentation, records, and certification renewals.

· Train and guide employees on Halal food handling and best practices.

· Work closely with Production teams to ensure Halal compliance.

· Liaise with JAKIM and other certification bodies for applications and renewals.

· Report any non-compliance issues and take corrective action.

· To ensure that the halal certificate/process files are updated with valid certificates and product specifications.

· Assist, when necessary, in all purchasing, receiving, store & inventory functions in accordance to bakery policies.

· Develop, plan, organize, schedule, oversee and co-ordinate all halal related programs or activities and day-to-day programmes' operation.

Requirements:

· Possess at least a Diploma in Halal / Food Science & Technology or its equivalent with at least 1 years of relevant working experience.

· Minimum 1 year of experience in Halal food compliance, preferably in a bakery or food manufacturing environment.

· Knowledge of JAKIM Halal certification processes and food safety regulations.

· Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills.

· Ability to train and educate employees on Halal best practices.

· Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
