Position Summary: The Restaurant Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring excellent customer service, and managing the team to maintain high standards of cleanliness, food quality, and safety. They work closely with the management team to meet the restaurant's goals and deliver an exceptional dining experience to guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the restaurant.
  • Ensure high standards of customer service are consistently met.
  • Train, motivate, and manage restaurant staff, including servers, cooks, and hosts.
  • Monitor and ensure the cleanliness of the restaurant, including kitchen and dining areas.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner.
  • Manage inventory, order supplies, and ensure stock levels are maintained.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Help with staff scheduling and payroll management.
  • Prepare and maintain reports related to sales, expenses, and staff performance.
  • Collaborate with management to implement strategies for improving restaurant efficiency and guest satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Supervisor or similar role in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in hospitality management is a plus.
