Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Executive – Fresh Produce Handling to oversee the procurement, quality control, storage, and distribution of fresh fruits and vegetables. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient supply chain management while maintaining the highest standards of freshness and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Control & Compliance:

  • Inspect produce to ensure it meets company and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor storage conditions, shelf life, and handling procedures.
  • Implement food safety and hygiene protocols as per industry standards.

Inventory & Logistics Management:

  • Oversee stock levels, minimize wastage, and ensure timely replenishment.
  • Coordinate transportation, warehousing, and distribution to ensure freshness.
  • Work with logistics teams to optimize supply chain efficiency.

Customer & Market Insights:

  • Analyze market trends and consumer demand for fruits and vegetables.
  • Assist in developing strategies for pricing, promotions, and sales.
  • Address customer concerns related to produce quality and availability.

Operational & Team Coordination:

  • Train and supervise handling staff on proper storage and handling techniques.
  • Collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure smooth business operations.
  • Prepare reports on procurement, quality, and inventory performance.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 2-5 years of experience in fresh produce handling, or supply chain.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, GAP, FSSAI).
  • Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience working with supermarkets, wholesalers, or food service industries.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
