
Electrical Technician
1. Installation and Setup:
Install electrical wiring, lighting, and equipment for various systems (such as event related lighting,sound and led equipment)
Ensure that all systems are installed following safety standards and regulations.
2. Maintenance and Repair:
Perform routine maintenance checks on electrical and electronic systems to ensure they operate efficiently.
Troubleshoot electrical or electronic faults, diagnosing problems with wiring, circuit boards, and other components.
Replace or repair defective parts and components, including circuit boards, wiring, switches, and connectors.
Perform tests to ensure repairs and maintenance were successful.
3. Testing and Calibration:
Use specialized tools (such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, or power analyzers) to test electrical and electronic systems.
Calibrate electronic systems and devices to ensure they meet performance standards.
Test electrical circuits to check for efficiency and to prevent overloading.
4. Troubleshooting:
Identify and troubleshoot issues related to electrical circuits, power systems, and other electronic devices.
Understand the use of schematics and blueprints to identify problems in the system.
Utilize testing equipment to diagnose faults and determine the best repair solutions.
5. Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain records of work done, including repairs, inspections, or system upgrades.
Prepare reports on system performance, maintenance schedules, or upgrades.
Provide recommendations for future improvements or replacements based on observations.
6. Maintaining office building related electrical equipment such as lights , switches and etc.
Skills Needed:
- Proficiency with electrical and electronic testing and diagnostic tools.
- Strong understanding of electrical circuits, schematics, and wiring systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues with electrical equipment.
- Knowledge of safety standards and electrical codes.
- The job may require a combination of fieldwork and working in a workshop or control room.

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
