Position Title: HR Manager

Industry: Food & Beverages

Location: Kajang, Selangor

Job Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the company’s overall objectives.
  • Lead the HR team to create a productive and supportive environment.

Employee Engagement & Culture

  • Drive initiatives to cultivate a positive working culture and enhance employee satisfaction.
  • Implement programs that foster teamwork and collaboration across departments.

Policy Development & Compliance

  • Design and implement policies on employee relations, performance management, benefits, and regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with Malaysian labor laws and foreign worker regulations.

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Oversee the full recruitment cycle for sourcing, screening, and onboarding.
  • Ensure recruitment processes address the needs of a workforce of 200-300 employees.

HR Metrics & Data

  • Analyze HR metrics to identify trends, address challenges, and improve processes.

Crisis Management

  • Handle staff grievances, disputes, and environmental (social) crises effectively.

Training & Development

  • Identify training needs and evaluate the effectiveness of initiatives.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and growth.

Qualifications & Experiences Needed

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years in progressive HR roles, with at least 5 years in a managerial capacity.
  • Prior experience overseeing HR for 700 approx employees; exposure to managing larger teams is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of HR policies, legal requirements, and foreign worker applications.
  • Proven leadership and interpersonal skills, with a focus on collaboration and empathy.
  • High emotional intelligence (EQ) and the ability to unite teams and foster cohesion.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent communication and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Open to candidates from industries beyond F&B, with transferable skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
