Job Brief : Technician cum Car Park Operator

Maintenance and Repair: Carrying out maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of parking barriers and equipment to ensure proper functioning.

Operational Duties: Overseeing the daily operations of the car park, such as managing entry and exit of vehicles, collecting fees, and ensuring smooth traffic flow.

Record-keeping: Maintaining records of maintenance activities, transactions, and any incidents occurring within the parking facility.

Timely Issue Resolution: Swiftly addressing and resolving parking-related issues within a short timeframe to minimize disruptions and ensure smooth operations.

Collaboration: Working collaboratively with team members and other stakeholders to efficiently manage parking facilities and solve any arising problems.

Customer Service: Assisting users with any issues related to parking, payment systems, or equipment malfunctions. Assisting in providing solutions to parking-related problems for users of the parking facility, ensuring their convenience and satisfaction.

Technical Expertise: Possessing technical knowledge and skills related to parking systems, including understanding the operations of parking barriers, ticketing machines, and other equipment.

Preventive Maintenance: Conducting routine checks and preventive maintenance to prevent potential issues and ensure the continuous functioning of parking systems.

Compliance: Ensuring the parking facility adheres to safety regulations and company policies, including any necessary inspections and compliance checks.

Documentation: Maintaining records of maintenance activities, repairs, and any incidents related to the parking facility.

Training and Support: Providing training and support to users or staff members on how to use parking equipment effectively and troubleshoot minor issues.

Adaptability: Being adaptable to different situations and able to handle varying work conditions to maintain the efficiency of parking facilities.

  • Ensure that all the equipment are functioning efficiently
  • Monitoring daily activities at the car park including traffic and crowd movements
  • Maintains various record-keeping manuals/logs relative to the operational aspects of the Car Park.
  • Follow the Car Park operating procedures and manuals.
  • Prepares and submits reports to include incident and accident reports, maintenance defaults, customer complaints, and special requests from the Executives and above.
  • Promotes and creates a Customer Service Environment.
  • Check technical conditions of barriers, intercoms and automatic payment machines, and coordinate any request with the Executives and above.
  • Ensure each car park and level is attended to, clean and well-operational.
  • Participate in the daily collection procedures and reports to be submitted to the Finance department.
  • Print reports from the central parking management system and co-ordinate with Executives and above.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM3,000.00 per month

Experience:

  • Car Park Attendant: 1 year (Preferred)

Language:

  • English (Preferred)
