Waiter/Waitress
Standard Job Responsibilities:
1. Punctual, efficient and above all courteous, assumes a pleasing and helpful attitude towards each guest, and speaks in a clear voice to other employees.
2. Must be always well groomed and neatly dressed in the prescribed uniform. While on duty, never wear any jewellery except that which is permitted as per the Resort’s grooming standard for uniformed employee.
3. Handles guest complaints, and if necessary, refer them to Assistant Manager for follow-up and corrective action. Must relay any customer complaints, regardless how small, to the Manager or Supervisor on duty.
4. Always be aware of his/her schedule. Must be punctual and must give adequate notice whenever serious circumstances prevent him/her from adhering to schedule.
5. A waiter/waitress must be familiar with the Resort, the restaurant within the hotel, and especially with the outlet he/she is working in order to answer questions quickly and accurately to guests.
6. The waiter/waitress is responsible for all service at his/her station/outlet
7. Waiter/waitress greets arriving guest(s) in a pleasant manner, making them feel welcome and at ease. He/she leads them to the assigned table and addresses guest(s) by name when the hostess leads the guest(s) to the table.
8. Waiter/waitress never uses equipment for any purpose for which it is not intended, either by House rule or by custom.
9. Waiter/waitress is aware of all House rules, and he/she not only obeys them but assists in enforcing them. He/she must conduct in a manner that so encourages fellow employees to do likewise.
10. Any other duties task as and when assigned or required from time to time
Key Responsibilities/Major Tasks:
1. Ensures high standards of personal presentation and grooming.
2. Exercises responsible behaviour at all times and positively representing the hotel management team.
3. Reads the hotel's Employee Handbook and have an understanding of and adhere to the hotel's rules and regulations and in particular, the policies and procedures relating to fire, hygiene, health and safety.
4. Attends training sessions and meetings as and when required.
5. Carries out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM1,900.00 per month
