Job Summary:

The Scrap Handler is responsible for managing, sorting, and disposing of scrap materials generated from aircraft maintenance, repairs, and manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Scrap Management & Disposal:

  • Collect, sort, and categorize scrap materials such as metal, composites, and hazardous waste from aircraft maintenance and manufacturing operations.
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of scrap materials in compliance with aviation and environmental regulations.
  • Coordinate with recycling vendors and disposal services for material processing.

2) Inventory & Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate records of scrap materials, including weight, type, and disposal methods.
  • Prepare reports on scrap volume, disposal costs, and revenue from recyclable materials.

3) Compliance & Safety:

  • Adhere to safety guidelines when handling hazardous materials, ensuring compliance with aviation safety standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with waste management policies.
  • Perform basic maintenance checks on tools and equipment used for scrap handling.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
  • Prior experience in waste management, material handling, or aviation-related scrap handling preferred.
  • Ability to operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,000.00 per month

Schedule:

  • Day shift

Supplemental Pay:

  • Overtime pay
