Job Responsibilities:
GL
- Perform monthly closing of Management Account including journal posting for fixed depreciation, pre-payment, accrual, etc.
- Finalization of bank reconciliation.
- Manage daily financial & accounting operation including full set account (GL, P&L, AP & AR), cash flow, expenses, claim & credit control
- Prepare monthly and annual financial reports.
- Assist the Finance Manager in monthly variance analysis for Management Accounts.
- Support the Finance Manager with projects and tasks when required.
- Assist manager in monthly closing/Yearly audit/Tax/Budgeting related matters.
- Overview and monitor subordinate account executive job task.
- Managing PPE through ensuring timely fixed assets recognition for transfer, disposal and acquisition.
AP
- Review invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment
- Verify invoices against purchase orders and ensure goods or services were received before issuing payment to vendors
- Perform invoice and general-ledger data entry
- Reconcile bank statements (AP)
- Provide other clerical support necessary to pay the obligations of the organization
- Maintain meticulous records of outstanding payables
- Protect businesses against unintentional overpayment
- Practice effective monitoring to ensure payments are made to vendors in a timely manner
- Purchase reconciliation between the Finance system and vendor Statement of Accounts (SOA). To liaise and resolve with vendor if there is any discrepancy.
AR
- Responsible for AR functions from each respective retail outlets.
- Perform daily revenue reconciliation to match collection payments, e.g. credit card.
- Manage receivables promptly with the aim of reducing overdue receivables and days sales outstanding.
- Follow established procedures and guidelines in the area of responsibility accurately and timely.
- Reconcile bank statement (AR).
- Other ad-hoc duties assigned by Management.

Qualifications:
- Minimum Degree in Accounting/Diploma in Accounting or relevant qualification;
- Good interpersonal and collaborative skills to work effectively with team and stakeholders throughout the organization;
- Flexible, meticulous, organized, and able to work under time constraints and deadlines;
- At least 2 years of working experience in the related field;
- Able to work independently under minimum supervision;
- Prior work experience in retail industry will be an added advantage;
- Computer literate. Experience in SQL and ERP system is an added advantage;
Working Conditions:
- This position will be based at our HQ office in Section 33, Shah Alam.
- Personal transportation to the office is required as there is limited public transportation in the area.
- Working days are Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm
- The candidate should be prepared for flexibility when required, including working extra hours and weekends, to ensure the successful execution of time-sensitive initiatives.
- The candidate may be required to be on-site at our events and long hours.
- The candidate should be available to work on weekends/public holidays when events fall on weekends/public holidays.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
