Air Conditioner Technician

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Entry-Level HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of HVAC systems and a strong willingness to learn. In this role, you will assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems under the supervision of more experienced technicians. Key Responsibilities: Installation: Assist with the installation of HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, furnaces, and ventilation systems in residential and commercial buildings. Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning filters, checking refrigerant levels, and inspecting system components to ensure proper operation. Repairs: Help diagnose issues with HVAC systems, troubleshoot malfunctions, and assist with repairs. Customer Service: Communicate effectively with customers, answer questions, and provide recommendations for system improvements. Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and regulations, including proper handling of tools and equipment. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and maintenance logs. Training: Participate in on-the-job training and certification programs to develop technical skills and knowledge in the HVAC field. Qualifications: Strong desire to learn and develop technical skills. Ability to work well in a team environment. Good communication and customer service skills. Willingness to work in varying weather conditions and environments. Must be able to lift heavy equipment and tools as required. Preferred Qualifications (but not required): Completion of a vocational training program or apprenticeship in HVAC. Entry-level certifications such as EPA Section 608 or NATE certification. Driver's license and reliable transportation. Working Conditions: Full-time position Work will be performed in residential, commercial, and industrial environments. Occasional travel may be required.
