Under the guidance of the Program Manager, this role focuses on digital outreach, social media engagement, campaign management, event coordination, and real-time community support. The ideal candidate will leverage digital tools to drive health education, service accessibility, and stigma reduction, aligning with the Malaysian AIDS Council’s community empowerment goals. SPECIFIC KNOWLDEGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES • Proficiency in digital tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite, Powtoon, Capcut) and analytics software (Google Analytics, Meta Insights, Isentia). • Proficiency in using social media tools that related to Key Populations • Excellent written/verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; ability to craft culturally sensitive content for diverse audiences. • Experience working with cross-functional teams (internal departments, external partners) to achieve project goals. • Able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and thrive in fast-paced environments. • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with community and stakeholders. • Willingness to travel regularly (including to remote/rural areas) and work odd hours (evenings/weekends). RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES (Indicate according to Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Periodically or Annually) a) Digital Campaign Development & Management • Collaborate with the Program Team to design digital outreach strategies, including monitoring and evaluation (M&E) frameworks. • Develop and manage targeted digital marketing campaigns (e.g., social media ads, Google Ads) to promote HIV services such as Community-Based Testing, self-test kits, and PrEP. • Identify emerging trends in digital intervention (e.g., mobile marketing, AI, Chatbox etc) to innovate outreach efforts. • Create online banner advertisements and negotiate ad placements with external platforms. b) Social Media & Content Management • Oversee and execute the social media, including live sessions to encourage testing, answer FAQs, and destigmatize HIV/STI services. • Produce, edit, and publish multimedia content (videos, podcasts, infographics) for platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. • Optimize website and social media content for engagement, SEO, and accessibility. c) Community Engagement & Outreach • Conduct digital/online outreach and refer clients according to their needs. • Provide clients with information and knowledge based the their needs. • Respond promptly to calls, messages, and online inquiries, providing referrals to clinics, counselors, or support networks. • Host live social media sessions to engage audiences, address HIV/STI-related inquiries, and guide users to testing/services. • Respond promptly to calls, messages, and online inquiries, providing referrals to clinics, counselors, or support networks. • Develop printed materials (e.g., brochures, posters) to complement digital outreach. • Collaborate with social media influencers and other content creators to boost online reach. d) Event Coordination & Support • Organize webinars, webcasts, and virtual events to educate communities on HIV prevention and testing. • Assist in coordinating events to expand reach and participation. e) Monitoring, Reporting & Analysis • Track website traffic, social media metrics, and campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics. • Generate monthly reports on engagement, service uptake, and campaign ROI for internal review. f) Administrative & Operational Support • Assist the Program Manager in budgeting, procurement, and project implementation. • Liaise with finance and audit teams to ensure timely disbursements and resource allocation. • Perform ad-hoc tasks to support program goals, as assigned.
