General Job Description Responsible for delivery/ collection of goods and other articles of trade in a safe and timely manner. Primary Responsibilities 1. Ensure compliance of the existing and new or amended laws; rules and regulations, SOP, policies and procedures of the Company. 2. Meeting given KPI that aligned with the department's strategy, which in turn aligned with the overall strategy of the Group. 3. Transport goods from one location to another, over intercity routes and spanning states with high level of concentration and care. Ensure that goods are delivered safely and on schedule. 4. Plan and determine the most efficient route to meet delivery schedule. Maintain physical health and ensure enough sleep before report to work. 5. Maintain daily records of delivery and pick-up, and ensure acknowledgement of all relevant documents. 6. Operating commercial vehicles in the fleet in a safe and appropriate manner. Maintain vehicle equipment, clean windows, windshields and mirrors as needed. Keep interior of vehicle clean of debris and clutter. 7. Follow all applicable traffic rules and regulations and keep driver commercial vehicle license valid. 8. Perform daily safety and maintenance checks. 9. Inspect vehicle before and after delivery and record defects if found. 10. Report mechanical problem to the appropriate personnel and follow accident procedures if accidents occur. 11. Assist on loading and unloading on both vehicles and container, picking, packing, inspection, storing, sticking sticker, transfer of goods, etc. 12. Assist on delivery or collection of non-traded items, when necessary. 13. Participate in the training program arranged by the Company in order to develop the knowledge, skills and competencies required for work performance improvement purposes. 14. Perform other related duties as assigned from time to time.
