Job Overview : The Manufacturing Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations in a manufacturing facility, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and safety regulations are met. This role involves managing staff, optimizing production processes, maintaining equipment, and ensuring cost efficiency. Responsibilities: 1. Directs, manages and optimizes the plant or production facilities overall operations and financial performance (P&L) 2. Sets policies and procedures that guide plant operation productivity, quality, and cost efficiency 3. Organize the factory’s mid-to-long-term plan and annual work plan 4. Take overall responsibility for the management and formulation of the factory’s production line 5. Ensure the production progress, and be responsible for the company’s total production capacity, quality, and production efficiency 6. Systematically collects operational metrics to analyze productivity and set performance target to meet revenue and cost goals 7. Support the development and deployment of manufacturing practices focused on quality and continuous improvement 8. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments. 9. Direct Operation by ensuring that teams work closely to analyze the demand and develop production strategies, including supply chain, product rationalization, material flow, information flow, manpower staffing, and equipment to meet Customer requirements 10. Troubleshoot process-related problems and formulate a corrective action plan to avoid recurrence of shortcomings in the processing line. 11. Drive industrial relations harmony and accountability for all plant KPIs and ensures adequate training and development at all staff/operations levels 12. Oversee multi-functional plant teams including finance, engineering, materials, quality assurance, and human resources 13. Take on other responsibilities as may be reasonably assigned to you by your superior from time to time
