Job description The following would be the requirements: Project Initiation and Planning: -Takes full responsibility for the completion of the initial definition of the project, including defining scope, expected timelines and identification of project sponsor. -Ensures that the appropriate Program Management Office Project Framework is integrated into the project planning. -Completes a full analysis of the projects to ensure that all Eastspring Investments governance framework is setup within the project. -Setting and communicating realistic project deliverables with project sponsors. -Effective project stakeholder management. -Ensuring that appropriate resource planning is undertaken at the start of each initiative. Project Execution: -Ensuring that appropriate project resources are involved in the initiatives, including technology, business unit and project resources. -Ongoing communication within the initiative is proactively managed. -Leading the change through all stages from requirement gathering to implementation. Project Control & Reporting: -Effective tracking of detailed tasks in the plan via established task reporting processes and input from task owners. -Effective issue and risk management. -Management of dependencies / constraints with other releases / initiatives. -Regular Project Status Reports to key stakeholders. -Governance adherence highlighting issues, risks and status against key milestones. -Drive Steering Committee meetings with key stakeholders. -Provide regular written status updates to all stakeholders. -All project documentation has been signed-off by the business. Others -Act as a liaison between respective business unit and various service providers -Capture business requirements and translating it into workable functions with the respective system provider Experience/ Qualifications: -Minimum a Bachelor degree in relevant fields -Project Management certification is an advantage -More than 5 years of experience working as a Project Manager within either fund management or financial services companies. This experience could have been gained as an employee of the financial institution or as a consultant working on assignment. -Experience in Asset Management, Fund Accounting or Finance related projects is an advantage. -Solid track record of delivering projects on time and within cost against a recognized project management methodology. Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities: -Dynamic individual who is able to navigate the organization successfully with excellent influencing and stakeholder engagement skills. -Able to resolve issues in a manner that build trusts, delivers successful project outcomes and drives the organisation’s strategic agenda. -High energy, drive with strong change management experience. -Attention to detail, persistence to complete tasks and resolve issues & risks. -Pro-active / takes initiative. -Has experience of working across / covering multiple jurisdictions
