Electrical Engineer

Job Purpose: To oversees installation, maintenance, and safety of electrical systems in construction projects, ensuring compliance with regulations, efficiency, and reliability for power distribution and building operations. Qualification & Requirement: • Possess Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering/related field or other relevant qualifications. • Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in an Electrical Engineering role, preferably in the construction industry. • Familiar with MS Office, MS Project, AutoCAD or any electrical design software/tools. • Familiar with relevant industry regulations, standards, and best practices. • Ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders. • Keen intention to detail and ability to effectively manage time. • Good report preparation, communication, and interpersonal skills with internal and external parties. • Committed, able to work independently, ethical, strong problems solving, results oriented and team player. • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision. Main Responsibilities: • Managing and monitoring all assigned electrical project while ensuring works are done as per contract's specification. • Liaising and checking sub-contractors’ work to ensure compliance with the drawings. • Coordinate with project stakeholders; clients, consultants, main contractors, local authorities, sub-contractors, and suppliers. • Prepare progress reports and scheduling reports. • Identifying potential problems and delay at site and report regularly to superiors on the progress of works. • To carry out such duties and job functions as may be assigned to you from time to time by the Superior and such duties are not necessarily limited to the above title and responsibilities and may be subject to changes.
