Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Chargeman to oversee the electrical operations and maintenance of a Data Centre Project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of electrical systems, performing troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and perform preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems, including switchgears, transformers, UPS systems, generators, and power distribution units (PDU).
  • Ensure compliance with local electrical regulations and safety standards in all operations.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults to minimize downtime and maintain power reliability in the data centre.
  • Monitor and manage electrical power distribution, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Supervise and coordinate with subcontractors and vendors during installations, maintenance, and repair work.
  • Maintain proper documentation, reports, and logs for electrical systems, maintenance schedules, and compliance records.
  • Conduct risk assessments, safety inspections, and audits to ensure the highest level of operational safety.
  • Support commissioning and testing of electrical systems for new data centre facilities or expansions.

Requirements:

  • Certified Chargeman ( BO, B1, B4 certification) or equivalent, as per local regulatory requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, drawings, and manuals.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of electrical safety regulations and best practices.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
