Fitness/Gym Trainer (Full Time Only)
Role : Fitness/Gym/Personal Trainer
Type : 12 Months Contract – 1 Year (Renewable Based on Performance) Can choose short term or long term contract (3 Months/ 6 Months)
Location : Menara Bangsar UOA & DC Mall Bukit Damansara
Working Days : 5.5 Days (Monday – Friday & Sat/Sun – Half Day)
Working hours: 11am – 8pm (10 Hours Shift)
Basic Salary Range: RM 1,800 – RM 2,000
*Key Responsibilities:*
- *Client Assessment:* Conduct fitness assessments to evaluate clients' physical condition and create customized workout plans based on their goals, preferences, and fitness levels.
- *Program Development:* Design and implement safe and effective fitness programs tailored to individual needs, including weight loss, muscle gain, and overall health improvement.
- *Instruction and Guidance:* Provide clear instructions and demonstrations for exercises, ensuring proper form and technique to prevent injury and maximize results.
- *Motivation and Support:* Encourage and motivate clients to achieve their fitness goals, offering support and adjustments as needed to keep them engaged and progressing.
- *Tracking and Progress:* Monitor clients' progress through regular assessments and adjust programs as necessary to ensure continued improvement and goal attainment.
- *Health and Safety:* Ensure a safe workout environment by following gym policies, maintaining equipment, and adhering to all health and safety guidelines.
- *Client Relationships:* Build strong relationships with clients, offering advice and support beyond training sessions, including nutritional guidance and lifestyle recommendations.
- *Continuous Learning:* Stay updated on the latest fitness trends, techniques, and best practices through ongoing education and professional development.
- *Team Collaboration:* Work collaboratively with other gym staff and trainers to create a positive and supportive gym community
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: High school diploma or equivalent. A degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field is a plus.
- Certifications: Must hold a current certification from a recognized organization such as ACE, NASM, NSCA, or ACSM.
- Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience as a personal trainer or in a related fitness role.
*Skills:*
- Strong understanding of exercise physiology, nutrition, and program design
- Excellent communication and motivational skills
- Ability to develop personalized fitness programs
- Proficiency in fitness assessment and body composition analysis
- CPR and First Aid certification
