Duties:
Management Reporting
- Support the month end closing process by reviewing the country level management accounts, reporting pack and balance sheet recons for reliable group reporting in a timely manner
Monthly Financial Analysis
- Provide comprehensive, timely and effective financial analysis, insights and recommendations via monthly management report cycle
- Perform variance analysis on both financial and operation KPI, against forecast/budget, identify key red flags with commentaries summarized on factors contributing to such variances and action plan to close the gap
- Compile management report for the C-Suite, including updating and validating data, collating and reviewing commentaries, and presenting to finance leaders
- Partner with commercial stakeholders and local Finance team to provide business insights and business drivers, with deep dive into material variances and movement in numbers
Budgeting and Forecasting
- Plan and drive the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting process with effective analysis and commentaries around risk and assumptions, in accordance with timelines requirement
Operating Processes and Internal Control
- Support and advise cross functional teams such as Investment, Legal, and Compliance and teams for new market exploration and portfolio investments
- Drive standardisation and efficiency in finance processes and management reporting across all countries.
Ad hoc Projects
- Review business cases and develop financial models to assess financial feasibility of CAPEX investments/initiatives/products before presenting to the business leaders.
- Review ROI in IT projects, pre- and post-evaluation as well as new projects
- Prepare Board of Director and investors related materials as required
- Assist on other ad hoc projects as requiredx
- Partner with stakeholders in local finance team, group finance, and Investment team to ensure an efficient and timely reporting process
Requirements:
Academic Qualification
- Degree in Accountancy, Finance or professional qualification in accounting i.e. ACCA, CPA, CIMA, etc.
Working Experience
- Minimum 6 years’ relevant working experience in finance-related managerial capacity.
- At least 3 years’ audit work experience; preferably with Big 4 audit firm or mid-tier audit firm.
- At least 3 years of Financial Planning and Analysis experience preferred
- Preferably experience in the tech, marketing services, or financial services industry

- Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication in English, able to build strong relationships, influencing and presenting at a senior level

Technical
- Competent in PC applications e.g. Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel and etc.
- Good accounting knowledge, including an understanding of consolidation.
- Experience in Oracle Netsuite ideally
- Experience in financial modelling
- Reporting skills with the highest standards of accuracy and deliver on time
- Strong analytical with solid business acumen and ability to identify key business drivers
