Come and join our friendly and dynamic team at Purple Dragon! The Accounts & Admin Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operations of the kindergarten. Being a good team player and a love for working with children is essential.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Administration:

  • Processing purchase invoices and payment to suppliers.
  • Monthly invoicing of customers and chasing up payment where required
  • Monthly processing of payroll. Prior experience with Payroll Panda/timesheet system a plus.
  • Booking of simple month-end GL journals. Familiarity with SQL system (or similar) a plus.
  • Preparing basic monthly management accounts on Excel.
  • Dealing with external auditors and preparation of statutory accounts.
  • Record maintenance including student admission forms, inventory listings etc.

Communication:

  • Work closely with the Owner/Principal and the Head of Operations.
  • Serve as a point of contact for parents and staff regarding administrative matters.
  • Provide timely information and support as needed.

Qualifications & requirement:

  • Prior experience of working in an administrative or accounting role highly desirable.
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Proficiency in basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, especially Excel).
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to converse fluently in English (Mandarin is a plus).
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
  • Flexible and positive attitude, for example when required to do tasks outside of your defined scope.

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional Saturday mornings (no more than 3 times per year)
