IT PROJECT MANAGER

Key Responsibilities: • Project Initiation: o Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. o Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk assessments. o Obtain necessary approvals and funding. • Project Planning and Execution: o Break down projects into manageable tasks and assign responsibilities. o Monitor project progress and identify potential risks. o Implement effective change management processes. o Manage project budgets and resources. • Team Leadership: o Lead and motivate cross-functional teams. o Foster collaboration and teamwork. o Provide guidance and support to team members. • Stakeholder Management: o Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels. o Effectively communicate project status and risks. o Manage expectations and resolve conflicts. • Risk Management: o Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks. o Develop contingency plans to address potential issues. • Quality Assurance: o Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices. o Conduct regular quality reviews and audits. • Post-Project Review: o Evaluate project performance and identify lessons learned. o Document project outcomes and share best practices. Qualifications and Skills: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • Proven experience in managing IT projects of varying complexity. • Strong project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid). • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. • Ability to think creatively and come up with innovative solutions. • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project). • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networks, and applications. • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
