Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage procurement activities for non-trade goods (Procure to Pay Process: Requisition, Quotation, Purchase Orders, Invoices, etc.), ensuring effective execution and supplier/vendor performance in accordance with contract compliance.
  • Manage relationships with vendors, service providers, and landlords to ensure timely deliveries and adherence to quality standards.
  • Develop cost-effective operations and procurement plans for each supplier/vendor service while working within the department budget. Prepare, manage, and monitor the department budget.
  • Handle contract and price negotiations with office vendors, service providers, and retail shop leases.
  • Oversee, maintain, and update records on procurement activities (including ordering, storing, distributing, and maintaining stock levels) to reduce expenses and achieve cost savings.
  • Review and approve the ordering of necessary goods and services in a cost-effective manner.
  • Implement and promote cost-saving measures across departments to reduce waste and pilferage.
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies, analyzing category details to proactively identify supplier issues, reduce costs, minimize risks, and ensure continuity of support.
  • Identify and research potential new suppliers and products based on project requirements and company goals.
  • Ensure that consumables stock levels meet a minimum of 20% based on the Consumables Stock Checklist before reordering.
  • Implement and maintain an accurate tracking system for consumable goods to monitor usage and inventory levels.

Qualification & Competency:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent graduate-level degree.
  • Requires minimum 3 years of working experience in the related field.
  • Experienced in sourcing, analyzing, and comparing data and/or products (quotation, quality of materials, reliability of supply, etc.) is a huge advantage.
  • MUST have own transport and be able to commute to our office in Shah Alam.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
