This is a Process Technologist role to initiate develop, test and optimize (new or improved) processes, track deviations from standards and ensure compliance to quality standards, in line with the applicable SHE&Q and operations guidelines, in order to contribute to efficient production processes and to achieve the agreed quality standards at the lowest possible cost.


What we ask

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, process & food engineering, food technology or related field.
  • 3-5 years’ relevant working experience in food/ beverage manufacturing industry especially in process engineering, R&D or production functions.
  • Possess a good knowledge on dairy / food technology and have experience in trouble-shooting key operations processes in dairy /food manufacturing such as liquid processing, heat treatment and aseptic processes.
  • Processes knowledge on quality standard audit that related to HACCP, GMP, ISO etc.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Vacancy description
  • Make process year plan for department and/or assigned installations/equipment, prioritise and prepare process activities, choose appropriate approach and plan the activities, in discussion with relevant parties.
  • Manage the introduction and integration of new products and processes into production, ensuring adherence to test protocols and SHE&Q guidelines. Acting as an intermediary between R&D and operations, the individual designs the process and product flow diagrams, and is responsible for setting up, executing, and reporting trial production.
  • The role involves analyzing production processes, identifying bottlenecks, and leading improvement projects focused on reducing water, chemical, and energy use, minimizing material losses, and enhancing OEE and product quality.
  • Develop and describe technology standards/guidelines, monitor the compliance of processes/products to these standards/guidelines and if necessary take measures.
  • Define, plan, and execute projects, leading process design, and setting up flow diagrams and specifications. It also includes participating in HACCP and HAZOP studies and leading process and cleaning validation during the OQ and PQ phases.
  • Collect, interpret, and edit process-related data, offering advice based on expertise, and reporting process performance during production team meetings while monitoring product results. Additionally, the individual participates in Root Cause Analyses and troubleshooting activities as needed.
  • Coach operators / technician / supervisors in order to reach a sufficient level of process / product understanding.
