  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.

  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

PLANNER / SOURCING SPECIALIST

POSITION SUMMARY:

  • Manage engineering handovers, SAP production orders, material demands, and resource scheduling for Packaging projects.
  • Plan and allocate project resources, track capacity, and adjust schedules to meet deadlines and milestones.
  • Support Project Managers with materials, logistics, costs, and capacity planning while ensuring accurate project setup and reporting deviations.
  • Maintain real-time ERP data, handle administrative tasks, and organize project records.
  • Identify and onboard local Asian suppliers to transition the European supply chain for packaging equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Process all engineering handover’s, set-up production orders in SAP, create the material demands and picking lists, schedule resources, etc., for Packaging projects.
  • Initial project (preliminary planning) resource planning after receipt of “start-up mail”, loading and releasing project resource and materials planning, after work load meeting and engineering BOM handovers
  • Entering, updating and monitoring available capacity resources per work center.
  • Reschedule in and out of projects and monitoring of project status with respect to deadlines/ milestones
  • Support and advise Project Managers in managing of project planning with regard to materials, hours, logistics, costs and capacity.
  • Ensure timely, correct and complete project setup, priorities and reporting of any deviance and together with PJM take corrective measures.
  • Independently set-up planning overviews and priorities in order to meet deadlines.
  • Daily processing of “real-time” data input into the ERP system. Taking care of relevant administrative activities and archiving of project data.

Sourcing Specialist

  • Support Packaging to find local Asian suppliers to outsource items used in (new developed or legacy) Packaging equipment. Transfer of European Supply Chain to Asian supply Chain.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education

  • Polytechnic Diploma / Bachelor Diploma and proven years of working experience in a similar technical and logistical environment

Work experience

  • Experience with integral logistical processes.
  • Familiarity with planning processes, techniques and tasks.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and Bill of Material (BOM) structures.
  • Experience in outsourcing of materials (Vendor parts and manufacturing parts), reading and interpretation of technical datasheets and searching for alternative parts and or suppliers.
  • Experience with Commodity Management and preferred suppliers.
  • Experienced in working together / communicating with teams from other departments / functions (i.e. Engineering, Project Management, Production, Supply Chain, Finance)

Expertise and methodology

  • Experience with ERP system (SAP) is required.
  • Experience in working with global suppliers (European and Asian source) (Cross Cultural management).
  • Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of JIRA is a strong plus.
  • Knowledge of AgilePLM is a strong plus.
  • Good command of English language (verbal and written)

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
