Job summary:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Manager to oversee procurement, logistics, and warehousing operations for our oil & gas and steel manufacturing businesses. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing efficient supply chain strategies, optimizing costs, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and products while maintaining quality and compliance with industry regulations.

Job responsibilities:

  • To develop and execute procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective sourcing of materials.
  • To establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable contracts.
  • To monitor market trends, pricing, and supplier performance to drive continuous improvements.
  • To ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • To oversee inbound and outbound logistics to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
  • To manage transportation planning, freight negotiations, and cost control measures.
  • To ensure compliance with import/export regulations and trade laws.
  • To optimize supply chain processes to minimize lead times and maximize efficiency.
  • To implement and manage inventory control systems to reduce waste and improve stock accuracy.
  • To oversee warehouse operations, ensuring proper storage, handling, and distribution of materials.
  • To drive improvements in warehouse layout, automation, and operational efficiency.
  • To ensure safety, quality, and compliance in all warehousing activities.

Qualification(s):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or warehousing (preferably in oil & gas or steel manufacturing).
  • Strong negotiation, supplier management, and contract management skills.
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems, ERP software, and supply chain analytics.
  • Understanding of industry regulations and best practices in procurement and logistics.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Location:

  • Rawang, Selangor.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM6,500.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
