SHIPPING & PRODUCTION ASSISTANT

SHIPPING and PRODUCTION ASSISTANT Job Responsibilities: • Assist in coordinating daily shipping operations for both import and export shipments. • Prepare and verify shipping documentation, including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and customs declarations. • Support LMW (Local Manufacturing Warehouse) customs procedures, ensuring compliance with regulations and timely processing of shipments. • Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and efficient shipping. • Assist in monitoring shipment status and updating tracking records for both incoming and outgoing shipments. • Assist with the preparation of customs clearance documents and facilitate communication with customs authorities. • Ensure all shipping and customs-related paperwork is properly filed and maintained for audit purposes. • Assist in maintaining accurate production schedules and ensuring timely execution of production plans. • Prepare and update production reports, including inventory levels, production status, and daily output. • Perform general administrative duties such as data entry, filing, and report generation as required by the Department Head. • Assist with ad-hoc tasks as assigned from time to time. Job Requirements: • Minimum of Diploma or higher qualification. • At least 2 years of experience in import/export operations and knowledge of custom and LMW procedures. • Must be a team player and positive attitude towards work and the company • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Good discipline and attendance with minimum unplanned leave • Able to commence work on short notice
