  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
  • Prepare and post journal entries, maintaining accurate records of financial transactions.
  • Reconcile bank statements and other accounts, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date accounting records, both physical and electronic.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Generate reports and summaries of financial data.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail related to accounting functions.
  • Perform general administrative tasks related to the accounting department.
  • Undertake other ad-hoc assignments as required by the accounting manager.
  • Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Bachelor's degree may be considered an asset.
  • Able to speak in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin
  • 5+ years of proven experience as an Accounting Clerk or in a similar accounting role.
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and procedures.
  • Proficiency in data entry and accounting software such as Autocount.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and a results-oriented approach.
