  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Role Overview

As a Design Consultant at SBSS, you will be the bridge between clients and our design team, ensuring a seamless experience from concept to completion. You will guide clients through their renovation journey, help them make informed design decisions, and ensure expectations are aligned at every stage. This role requires a combination of strong interpersonal skills, design knowledge, and project coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Client Engagement & Consultation

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their needs, lifestyle, and vision for their space.
  • Conduct initial design consultations and guide clients in defining their requirements.
  • Manage client expectations regarding budget, timeline, and design feasibility.
  • Address client concerns proactively, ensuring satisfaction throughout the process.

Design Advisory & Solutions

  • Work closely with the design team to provide recommendations on materials, layouts, and aesthetics that align with SBSS’s functional-first philosophy.
  • Help clients make confident decisions on selections such as finishes, lighting, furniture, and built-ins.
  • Educate clients on the impact of key design elements like lighting, color schemes, and space planning.

Project Coordination & Execution

  • Collaborate with project managers, designers, and contractors to ensure client requirements are translated effectively into design execution.
  • Attend site visits and client meetings to track progress and communicate updates.
  • Ensure all approvals and sign-offs are documented before work progresses to prevent costly changes.

Business Development & Client Retention

  • Build strong relationships with clients, creating long-term trust and potential referrals.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell or introduce additional services that enhance project outcomes.
  • Maintain clear records of client interactions and feedback to continuously improve SBSS’s approach.

Compensation & Benefits
