
IT Project Manager
The Digital IT project analyst is a position in Maybank’s Group Technology Digital Banking department which builds & operates Maybank’s consumer digital ecosystem platforms such as MAE & Maybank2u.
The project analyst will be working on business & department driven initiatives to bring greater values for internal & external customers. The role will be collaborating closely with Digital IT programme & project managers as well department management office to continuously bring efficiencies & effectiveness in a value driven supply chain.
Key responsibilities are as follow & will be mapped based on your talent:
1. Resourcing management
a. Understanding the demand pipeline & working with stakeholders to plan, execute, monitor,
report resourcing plans
b. Monitor & track values generated by talents within the department & initiatives
c. Seeking ways to grow to the next level
d. Regular reporting on resourcing health
2. Scope management
a. Understanding demand, deliveries & operations scope to support continuous optimal operations
3. Financial management
a. Translate department financial requirements into budgets & support process to secure the budget
b. Initiate & complete IT spend approval processes to drawdown & utilise the intended budget
c. Initiate purchase requests & track until payment completion
d. Monitor, track & report projects budget utilisation vs budget approved
e. Regular reporting on overall financial status
4. Timeline management
a. Monitor, track & report timeliness of projects & department initiatives
b. Regular reporting on timelines
5. Process controls & improvements
a. Understanding risks & issues process & managing the process
b. Reporting & its frequencies
c. Performance tracking

Requirements
1. Degree in related computer science principles
2. At least 5 years relevant experience
3. 1 year experience in IT project manager areas in the context of software delivery with in-house
development
4. 1 year experience in technical or functional related role in banking systems by in-house team
5. Good knowledge in scrum techniques & artefacts, i..e DoD, stories, backlog, etc
6. Able to resolve problems creatively
7. Proficient in using Jira & Confluence or familiar with tools to improve ways of working
8. Strong interpersonal & collaborative skills as well as highly effective communication skills
9. Organised, detail oriented & thorough
10. Strong desire to help improve processes & mentor others
KPI
1. No rebaseline in key initiatives
2. Min 70% budget utilization
3. Average 5 initiatives per year benchmarked against same Band & role
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: RM5,866.45 - RM12,000.00 per month
