Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Building Manager to oversee the operations, maintenance, and administration of our property. The ideal candidate will ensure that the building is well-maintained, compliant with regulations, and provides a safe and comfortable environment for tenants and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the building, including maintenance, security, and cleanliness.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including Akta 757 (Strata Management Act 2013) and other local building codes.
  • Manage service contracts and liaise with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Supervise and coordinate building maintenance activities, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural upkeep.
  • Monitor and manage building expenses, budget planning, and cost control.
  • Conduct regular building inspections to identify and address maintenance issues proactively.
  • Ensure all safety measures, emergency procedures, and fire safety systems are in place and functioning properly.
  • Prepare and present reports on building operations, maintenance, and expenses to management or property owners.
  • Implement sustainability and energy-saving initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Building Management, Estate Management, Property Management, Facilities Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum [3] years of experience in building or facilities management.
  • Strong knowledge of Akta 757 and other building-related laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and work under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and building management software is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle emergency situations effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Strata Management or Facilities Management.
  • Experience managing high-rise residential or commercial properties.
  • Familiarity with budgeting and financial reporting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
