JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Lead in origination, structuring and execution of investment transactions.
  • Lead engagement with potential investment companies, general partners, advisors, & other partners.
  • Lead in building up pipeline of investment opportunities within identified strategic themes
  • Lead in identifying and assessing investment opportunities through research and financial analysis.
  • Execute capital deployment via Separate Managed Account, direct investments or other deployment mechanisms.
  • Oversee preparation of financial models, reports and presentation decks for potential transactions.
  • Lead comprehensive due diligence (including financial, commercial and operational) on potential investments.
  • Key liaison with internal stakeholders and external parties/advisors to ensure successful completion of engagements.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Preferably at least seven (7) years of relevant experience in Mergers and Acquisitions, Corporate Finance, Strategic Investments or other equivalent functions in the financial industry would be an advantage
  • Possess a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics or any other major from local or overseas universities recognised by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA)
  • Strong leadership and has excellent communication and negotiation skills in managing internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong written and presentation skills
  • Passionate, resourceful and self-driven
  • Strong financial and business acumen with good analytical skills
  • Ability to multitask and perform under pressure in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Malaysian citizen
  • Pass Malay Language including oral test at Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level or equivalent as recognized by the Malaysia Government
