About The Role

You will optimize HR processes, manage recruitment, enhance training programs, and act as a key liaison between the headquarters and the local team. This position requires a proactive and adaptable professional who can navigate cross-cultural challenges and drive HR initiatives aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Oversee the daily operations of the Kuala Lumpur SSC, optimizing processes such as employee onboarding, offboarding, and file management to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Talent Acquisition: Utilize local recruitment resources to source and hire suitable talents, managing the end-to-end recruitment process to meet branch office needs.
- Training & Development: Collaborate with headquarters to enhance the training system, organizing and conducting programs such as new employee orientation and job skills training to improve employee capabilities.
- Employee Liaison: Serve as the bridge between headquarters and the local team, ensuring smooth communication and alignment of HR policies and practices.
- Employee Relations: Build and maintain positive employee relations, planning team-building and cultural exchange activities to boost team cohesion and morale.
- Policy Communication: Act as the spokesperson for local HR policies, addressing employee inquiries and providing timely feedback to headquarters.
- Reporting & Analysis: Regularly compile and report HR dynamics of the Kuala Lumpur branch office to headquarters, offering data-driven insights for decision-making.
- System Improvement: Assist in refining local HR systems to ensure compliance and alignment with business development needs.
Professional Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or above in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 3 years of practical experience in human resources.
- Proficient in operating office software and HR systems.
- Fluent in English (working language); knowledge of Malay is a strong advantage.
- Strong understanding of HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and employee relations.
- Emotional Intelligence: Ability to sensitively perceive and manage employee emotions, fostering a harmonious work environment.
- Adaptability: Quickly adjust strategies to meet the dynamic needs of a startup and navigate cross-cultural challenges.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to act as a liaison between diverse teams.
- Problem-Solving: Proactive and resourceful in addressing HR-related issues and implementing effective solutions.
