The role will be responsible to work with CFS, Merchant team to acquiring new merchant and to grow merchant sales from different channel within the assigned portfolio.
This includes:
- Focus on merchant account acquisition, bring in New-To-Bank (NTB) merchant account to increase the none-GE merchant segment.
- Manage an assigned merchant portfolio by building good merchant relationship and prevent attrition.
- Work with Card Usage Team on marketing promotion by solicit marketing offers.
- Involve in Bank’s on-going project initiative for new business channel or system enhancement.
- Involve in Bank’s on-going compliance activities like Merchant High-risk review, Third Party Service Provider Review, merchant site-visit.
Job Qualifications
Having a merchant background is an advantage; at least 5 years of experience in Account/ Client Management, Business Development or Partnership.
- Good stakeholder and team player to achieve outstanding results.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills. Comfortable with middle to senior-level negotiations.
- Ability to derive and convey actionable insights from data and research.
- Enthusiastic and effective problem solver.
