Job Description
- Work closely with the Head of MY Commercial to execute the initiatives that drive growth and profitability as well as guide the organisation’s priorities
- Work with function stakeholders to lead and drive projects from end-to-end to enable business improvement and transformation. This may include
- Leading Shopee MY’s research efforts, with an emphasis on building a deeper understanding of the market and business
- Conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis to derive actionable Contributing to cross-functional strategy
- As point of contact as well as communicating strategies and objectives between departments within the company to drive project success.
- Engage with C-Level / senior leadership within Shopee to drive key agenda and initiatives
- End-to-end responsibility of Profit & Loss (P&L), resources and projects with respect to the above responsibilities
- Represent Shopee MY Commercial to interface with
- All departments across Shopee MY
- Regional teams
- At least 5 years of experience in a high-performing organisation, as a management consultant or in corporate strategy
- Background in e-commerce or fast-paced tech start-ups is a plus
- Outstanding problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Exceptional communication and project management skills
- Result oriented with bias for hands-on execution
- Possess strong business acumen and commercial savviness
- Bachelor's Degree required; Master's in Business Administration (MBA) would be advantageous
