Great opportunity for a growth focused CFO to help build a regional group in the Manufacturing / FMCG sector. This PE backed enterprise requires a very hands on CFO to homogenise multiple smaller acquisitions from a Finance perspective.

The Position:

The Position:

  • Ensure scalable groupwide Finace and accounting practices.
  • Integrate acquired businesses and develop performance reporting
  • Direct the preparation of all financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, shareholder reports, tax returns, and governmental agency reports.
  • Reviews planning process and suggests improvements to current methods.
  • Analyse operations to identify areas in need of reorganization, downsizing/upsizing, or elimination/investment.
  • Compares sales and profit projections to actual figures and budgeted expenses to actual expenses; makes or oversees any necessary adjustments to future projections and budgets.
  • Works with the CEO and other executives to coordinate planning and establish priorities for the planning process.
  • Studies long-range economic trends and projects their impact on future growth in sales and market share.
  • Identifies opportunities for expansion into new product areas.
  • Oversees investment of funds and works with investment bankers to raise additional capital required for expansion.
  • Establish and maintain appropriate monthly management reporting

You:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance required.
  • ACCA/ICAEW/MIA/CPA professional qualification required.
  • At least 15 years of experience with >5 yrs leading a finance team as CFO/Finance Director; and at least 3 years in a manufacturing / FMCG company.
