Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations, including arrivals, departures, room status updates, and billing requirements.
  • Lead, train, and manage front desk staff to ensure high morale and exceptional service delivery.
  • Manage and monitor activities of all employees in the Front Office department making sure they adhere the standards of excellence and to the guidelines set in the employee handbook, hotel policies and procedures, coaching, training and correcting where needed.
  • Monitor daily occupancy by reviewing status daily, analyses rate variance, monitor credit report and maintain close observation of daily house count.
  • Supervise Upsell program at the Front Office and work as part of the Yield Management team to try and maximize revenue for the hotel.
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, complaints, and VIP arrangements professionally and promptly.
  • Prepare and monitor budgets, revenue forecasts, and reports to maximize room revenue and occupancy.
  • Ensure proper cash handling, credit policies, and adherence to financial procedures.

Job Requirement

  • Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Communication, Public Relations, or equivalent certificates or experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in front office.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in leading the department.
  • Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required. Multilingual proficiency will be an added advantage.
  • Capable of maintaining high performance and focus.
  • Strong ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work on public holidays and shift rotations when required.
