About the Role:
We are looking for a Marketing Assistant to support Alipay+ cross-border business marketing efforts. This role will involve executing multi-channel marketing campaigns, coordinating regional partnerships, and managing social media initiatives to enhance brand awareness and user engagement. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, merchants, and partners to deliver innovative marketing solutions that drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Cross-Border Marketing Campaigns – Execute to-C marketing strategies to increase awareness and usage of Alipay+ and Alipay cross-border payment services.
- Multi-Channel Marketing Execution – Plan and implement campaigns across digital marketing, social media, events, and partnerships to achieve business objectives.
- Social Media Management – Engage with Southeast Asian and Chinese social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Xiaohongshu, Weibo, etc.), contributing creative content and managing campaigns.
- Merchant & Wallet Partner Collaborations – Support co-branded marketing initiatives with merchants and digital wallet partners to enhance Alipay+ brand influence.
- Event & Advertising Support – Assist in organizing exhibitions, events, webinars, and workshops, ensuring smooth logistics, vendor coordination, and promotional activities.
- Project & Vendor Management – Oversee campaign timelines, budgets, and stakeholder coordination, ensuring seamless execution across key regional markets.
- Creative Content Development – Work closely with internal teams to develop promotional materials, banners, presentations, and marketing collateral.
What You’ll Need:
- 1-2 years of marketing experience in digital marketing, social media, or event coordination.
- Fluent in English & Chinese (written & verbal) to manage cross-regional communications and content development.
- Active social media user with an understanding of SEA and Chinese social media trends. Hands-on experience managing at least 2-3 multi-channel campaigns.
- Strong aesthetic and creative sense to contribute insights on branding, content quality, and campaign execution.
- Project management experience, including vendor coordination, influencer collaborations, and timeline management.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to cross-regional, cross-cultural collaborations. Willingness to work flexible hours during peak campaign periods.
- Willing to travel within the Asia region as needed.
