Financial Operations (Senior Specialist)
The Senior Financial Operations Specialist will be responsible for providing comprehensive
financial management support for Asia region (Singapore, China & Japan) within the IBSol
department, focusing on cost management, financial reporting, and vendor management.
Responsibilities:
Financial Operations & Reporting:
Lead financial reporting and analysis, including monthly/quarterly/annual closings
Manage complex cost allocation processes across regional IT departments
Oversee accrual and provision management according to IFRS standards
Conduct financial forecasting and budgeting for regional operations
Develop and maintain financial models for cost analysis and projections
Handle inter-company transactions and reconciliations
Vendor & Contract Management:
Manage end-to-end procurement processes for IT services and equipment
Review and process vendor invoices ensuring compliance with contractual terms
Maintain contract database and contract documentation
Monitor vendor performance against contractual obligations
Process inter-company account payable and receivable
Cost Control & Analysis:
Implement and maintain cost controlling frameworks
Analyze cost drivers and identify optimization opportunities
Develop cost allocation models for fair charge-back mechanisms
Monitor budget utilization and variance analysis
Prepare management reports on cost developments and trends
Requirements:
Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
Minimum 5 years experience in financial operations or controlling
Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA) preferred
Advanced Excel skills including complex formulas, pivot tables, and VBA
Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
Essential Knowledge Skills:
In-depth knowledge of cost accounting principles and methodologies
Strong understanding of IFRS standards, particularly related to accruals and provisions
Experience in cost center management and allocation methods
Proficiency in financial forecasting and budgeting techniques
Knowledge of inter-company accounting and reconciliation processes
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
Experience in vendor management and contract administration
