To support Assistant Manager, Human Resources for day-to-day HR activities and implementation of Group HR strategy in the assigned OBU. This role is responsible for recruitment, training and development, and HR administration. You will also help to manage employee relations and performance management matters. The role will involve working closely with management to ensure a productive and positive work environment while promoting organizational policies, legal compliance, and employee well-being. The HR Executive will also assist in implementing HR strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives.

Responsibilities include:

  • To coordinate with the training provider for training arrangement and maintain proper training records.
  • To process full cycle payroll for OBU assigned.
  • Prepare monthly payroll report for Local, Contract Worker and Internship.
  • Manage and maintain daily attendance, overtime and leave records in system.
  • Responsible for Time and Attendance Systems that include:
  • New hire system registration
  • Ensure time and attendance system the employee record is up to date
  • Resolve / escalate if any error detected
  • To assist in updating and implementing human resources policies and procedures in compliance with the company’s policies, employee handbook.
  • To maintain proper personnel records for employees.
  • To provide and ensure proper orientation for new employees.
  • Responsible for foreign worker management includes but not limited to:
  • Work Permit Application / Renewal
  • Arrangement for medical check-up
  • Conflict management
  • Counselling
  • Responsible for end-to-end recruitment activities for non-executive level.
  • Assist on Employee Relation and Performance Management.
  • Any other duties or HR Project assigned.

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or; Business Administration or other majors
  • Minimum 2 years and above in Human Resource experience is required, with good understanding of Employment Act and Malaysia Labour Law.
  • Knowledge of Employment Act 1955.
  • Knowledge of Foreign Worker Management such as EPLKS, Fomema
  • Immediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of products, e.g. MS Word, Excel & Power Point.
