Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Offline Sales Channel Manager to help grow our brand's presence in Malaysia and Singapore. You will be responsible for developing and managing offline sales channels, building strong relationships with dealers and retailers, and achieving sales targets. You will also explore franchise opportunities, manage key accounts, and lead a team across both markets.

Your Responsibilities:

1. Development and Management of Offline Channels:

  • Lead the development and ongoing management of offline sales channels for the company’s brand products in Malaysia.
  • Formulate sales strategies and plans aligned with the company’s overall objectives, considering market conditions and business priorities.
  • Organize and implement strategies to achieve regional sales targets and business growth.

2. Dealer and Customer Development:

  • Actively expand and maintain sales channels by cultivating strong relationships with dealers, distributors, and offline retailers.
  • Build and sustain a comprehensive channel system to ensure wide product availability and coverage.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in managing overseas market brands, to help leverage past international success.

3. Franchise System Exploration and Promotion:

  • Explore and analyze the feasibility of a franchise system for the company’s brand.
  • Develop a detailed franchise business plan and oversee its promotion and implementation to expand brand presence through franchising.

4. Channel Business Negotiations & Market Strategy:

  • Lead business negotiations with channel partners and customers to ensure favorable terms and long-term partnerships.
  • Conduct thorough market research to stay ahead of market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Develop and implement strategies to strengthen market position, drive sales growth, and enhance product visibility.
  • Manage the release and promotion of new products through the established channel network.

5. Customer Relationship Management & Sales Growth:

  • Build and nurture relationships with existing customers to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, loyalty, and repeat business.
  • Proactively identify new customer segments and markets to drive business expansion and increased sales.
  • Formulate and manage sales expense budgets, ensuring cost control while maximizing sales profitability.

6. Management of Key Account Team:

  • Oversee the management of the key account team, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and objectives.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the key account team, helping to develop and maintain strong relationships with strategic accounts and drive business growth.
  • Ensure the effective execution of account-specific sales strategies, monitoring performance, and achieving sales targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality service and product delivery for key accounts.

What We Are Looking For:

1. Experience:

  • At least 5 years of experience in offline sales channel management, particularly within the FMCG sector, with a preference for experience in Personal Care, Skincare, or Beauty products.
  • Demonstrated success in expanding and managing sales channels, achieving sales targets, and driving team revenue growth.
  • Proven experience in managing key accounts or leading key account teams, especially across multiple markets (Malaysia and Singapore).

2. Market Knowledge:

  • Strong familiarity with the Malaysian market and other Southeast Asian markets, including a solid understanding of local regulations, policies, and industry dynamics.
  • A keen ability to understand and anticipate market trends and directions.

3. Skills and Capabilities:

  • Ability to independently manage market development projects from strategy to execution.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, particularly with a focus on guiding and developing key account teams.
  • Demonstrated capacity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic market environment while delivering tangible results.

4. Language Proficiency:

  • Proficient in English, with the ability to use it fluently for business communication, negotiations, and collaboration with international teams.

5. Educational Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Equivalent qualifications will also be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with managing brands in the Personal Care, Skincare, or Beauty products sectors.
  • Previous experience working with international markets or brands, especially in Southeast Asia, would be an advantage.
  • Strong experience in managing cross-border teams, particularly in Malaysia and Singapore.
  • Experience with major retailers such as Watsons, Guardian, or pharmacies in Malaysia and other Southeast Asian markets.
