We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Events Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue through the sale of event spaces and services, including weddings, corporate meetings, social gatherings, and other special events. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and a proven track record in event sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Sales Strategy:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to meet and exceed revenue targets for event spaces and services.
- Identify new business opportunities and market trends to expand the resort’s event portfolio.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, wedding planners, event organizers, and other key stakeholders.
- Conduct site inspections and presentations to showcase the resort’s facilities and services.
Proposal Development:
- Prepare tailored proposals, contracts, and event packages that align with client needs and budget requirements.
- Negotiate terms and close deals to secure bookings.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the operations, catering, and sales teams to ensure seamless execution of events and high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Provide detailed event briefs to internal teams to ensure all client requirements are met.
Revenue Management:
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, prepare regular reports, and adjust strategies as needed to achieve revenue goals.
- Maintain accurate records of bookings, contracts, and client communications in the CRM system.
Market Awareness:
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to position the resort as a preferred choice for events.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in event sales, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing high-value accounts.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM software (Delphi Amadeus and Opera Cloud) and Microsoft Office Suite.
