Assistant Sales Manager, Investment, is responsible for client origination of promoting the company’s Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) products to institutional investors, high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs), and retail investors. The role involves developing and executing Business Development strategies to grow assets under management (AUM), meeting business targets, and building long-term relationships with key clients. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of real estate investment, REIT structures, and equity fund products, with a proven ability to achieve business objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Client Origination & Business Development:

Pitch and promote the company’s REIT products to institutional investors, retail investors, financial advisors, and HNWIs.

Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve individual and team business targets.

Identify and engage with new business opportunities and potential clients within the real estate and investment sectors.

Conduct client presentations, meetings and product pitches to showcase REIT offerings and benefits.

2. Client Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.

Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, providing timely information, updates, and solutions related to the REIT products.

Follow up on leads, referrals, and networking opportunities to expand the client base.

QUALIFYING CRITERIA

Professional Expertise:

Demonstrated experience and knowledge in banking/wealth management business, private equity fund investment etc.

Business development experience in private equity funds, unit trusts, insurance agency, and/or other structured financial products such as unitised land parcels would be an added advantage.

Demonstrated good communication skills and proficient in English is a must and other languages are an advantage.

Experience:

At least 3-5 years of experience in Investment, Business development, marketing, or client relations within the real estate or financial services industry, with a focus on REITs or equity funds.

Experience in preparing pitching deck/ marketing materials, handling investor relations, and supporting business development efforts is highly desirable.

Skill and Competencies:

Knowledge of REITs, real estate investment products, and equity fund markets.

Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex information to clients in a clear and concise manner.

Proficient in marketing tools, CRM software, and MS Office applications.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with a focus on attention to detail.
