Job Title: Supervisor, Receiving & Storekeeper
Job Purpose:
Responsible for managing and ensuring the smooth operation of the store, overseeing receiving processes, stock management, and compliance with inventory control procedures.
Job Responsibilities:
Receiving & Stock Management:
- Verify and receive food, beverage, and general items, ensuring correct quantity, condition, and packaging.
- Ensure all received goods are properly tagged, labeled, and stored in an orderly manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas.
- Stack and replenish stock, including food, beverage, tobacco, general, maintenance, and housekeeping items.
- Conduct monthly physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
Inventory Control & Reporting:
- Record all store requisitions and ensure they are accurately posted into the inventory control system.
- Monitor stock levels, report expired or soon-to-expire items, and assist in maintaining optimal stock levels.
- Prepare and submit daily receiving reports and purchase orders.
- Report invoices without purchase orders to the purchasing department.
- Ensure security and proper handling of store inventory.
Operational Efficiency & Compliance:
- Support cost control by tracking consumption across outlets, kitchens, bars, and departments.
- Ensure store operations comply with internal policies and standard procedures.
- Raise market lists for required store items and track undelivered purchases.
- Supervise receiving and storekeeping activities, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
Team Supervision & Coordination:
- Coordinate with the cost controller and purchasing team to ensure efficient stock management.
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all transactions.
Job Requirements:
- Education: Minimum SPM qualification.
- Experience: At least 3 years of relevant working experience in storekeeping and receiving operations.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong organizational and inventory management skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in stock handling and documentation.
- Basic proficiency in inventory management systems.
