Job Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing cost estimates, quotations, and tender documents for renovation projects.
- Conduct site measurements, material take-offs, and cost analysis.
- Evaluate and compare suppliers’ and subcontractors’ quotations.
- Monitor project budgets, progress claims, and payment certifications.
- Assist in contract administration, variation orders, and final account preparation.
- Conduct site visits to verify work progress and ensure compliance with cost control measures.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure smooth project execution within budget constraints.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 0 to 2 years of working experience in the renovation or construction industry (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Basic knowledge of cost estimation, contract administration, and construction materials.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, and QS-related software a plus.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
- Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Willing to travel to project sites as required.
